The story which is set the slums of Karachi and Lahore early 1950s, revolves around a poor but respectable family who is facing a lot of hardships for their survival. Corruption and degradation take over their lives. Jobless and without any real hope of a better life, they find themselves the clutches of unprcipled entrepreneurs who exploit each of them totally.
